Tiyana Robinson is a Washington DC-based Makeup Artist, Brand Ambassador, and International Beauty Educator.
Tiyana is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, where she received Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Psychology (Pre-Law). Following a short-lived, but successful stint in the legal sector, she entered the beauty industry by serving as Client Service Manager for ARJUNI, a US & Cambodia-based purveyor of ethically sourced virgin hair extension. During her time with ARJUNI, Tiyana spent two years living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia where she played a pivotal role in the growth and development of the Cambodian Client Service department. She eventually worked her way up to Director of Marketing and Sales.
In 2013, after being asked by a friend to do makeup for an event, Tiyana decided to pursue her first love : makeup artistry. Since then, her work has taken Washington D.C. (and the world) by storm! In three short years, Tiyana’s makeup has been seen ripping the runway of New York Fashion Week, where she served as Key Makeup Artist for the first show in NYFW history to exclusively feature models of color; on televisions shows on VH1, Good Morning Washington, and on beautiful brown Brides in the DC area and abroad; She serves as a Social Media Ambassador for Black Opal and Noxzema; she’s grown her IG following from 10K to 42K in just over a year; and has scaled her business to multiple six figures in revenue. Most recently, she was nominated as 2017 Best Makeup Artist in DC by Washington City Paper.'
When she’s not painting DC’s most beautiful faces, Tiyana trains and mentors Makeup Artists from all over the world through her signature 6 week business, branding and social media coaching program. Her mission is to help other Makeup Artists grow businesses that are profitable, sustainable and FUN!
